Oh February, how I love and detest thee.
It's the month filled with stress and questions like "Will it be this fucking cold for another 6 weeks?", "What am I doing for Valentine's Day?" and "How many days does Feb. have again?"
Well, here's hoping that the groundhog will be kind to us this Feb. 2nd. And since it's 2009, not divisible by 4, we have 28 days this February. And Thank God for that.
Valentine's Day is soon, and, because of a lack of planning on somebody's part, I'll be spending it in New Hampshire on the Cross Country Skiing Trip at Sargent Camp. I have to admit, I'm very excited. We're going to learn how to cross country ski (I've done it twice already but not for a long time), snowshoe, hang out at the camp, and have a good ol' time. The honors program is giving us free transportation up there, which is amazing. So I bet this trip will be amazing. I'm upset, though, about BU's decision to close the camp for "Budgetary Reasons." First off, it makes no sense. Sargent makes a lot of money anyway. And couldn't they just cut a little funding instead of ending the whole thing? I had such a great time at the Sargent Camp with the Honors Program last fall. It's way too good of a thing to let come to an end.
